Barbie's Kenny

Drama
A struggling actor's life is turned upside down when his estranged mother appears on his doorstep with a terminal illness. Kenny’s mother, Barb, returns to his life in desperate circumstances and attempts to rekindle a relationship with a son she no longer understands. Their complicated relationship and the promise of buried treasure complicate every aspect of his life, which may not be a bad thing.
Programmer’s Notes: A minimalist drama fueled by excellent performances and direction. A compelling look at relationships we might value more than we think. And an ending that is ambiguous enough to leave you with questions.
