Sword of Trust

Comedy, Drama
Cynthia and Mary show up to collect Cynthia's inheritance from her deceased grandfather, but the only item she receives is an antique sword that was believed by her grandfather to be proof that the South won the Civil War. When they take the sword to a grumpy pawn shop owner, they learn that there might be more to the sword than they thought and the group begins a tour through the American South in this timely comedy.
Programmer’s Notes: Marc Maron is a perfectly cast lead in Sword of Trust, a comedy that is more than willing to have fun with conspiracy theories and revisionist history. Humor becomes a weapon in this timely film that examines our relationships with other people, including those who are close to us and culturally worlds apart. Lots of chemistry and satire and improvised scenes to keep things moving along.
